FAQ

WHAT IS RUSHING?

Rushing is a period of time at the beginning of the semester where fraternities/sororities actively recruit new members by hosting events. These events are meant for the potential future members to get to know the active members and vice versa. Rush week occurs twice in the year--generally during the third week of the Fall and Spring semester. This is your opportunity to see if Alpha Phi Omega is a good fit for you.

WHY JOIN?

Alpha Phi Omega has different attributes that can cater to various interests. Our membership contains those who have a love for serving the community, those who were looking for friendship and a way to network, and those who were looking to grow their leadership abilities. However, even though people join for various reasons, our members stay because they have found a second family who, not only help your grow as a member within our fraternity, help you grow as an individual and utilize what you learn in the fraternity in the outside world.
